Well, it seems that the beta has been released to collect people's opinions. Here's mine
1) It's actually a game. Visual novel with real gameplay elements is a rarity on itch. Minigames are original and there is plenty of them (though I didn't quite like more random ones like "find the x" or local RPC variant. And it's not about them being random rather than they are more simplistic.I think, something like battleships or a race roll-and-move game would be better. But I don't know, maybe it's just me)
Anyway, gameplay is high quality
2) UI is incredibly good
3) The rest of the visual part of the game (backgrounds, characters etc) seems not to be finished so I won't comment on it. Same goes for the plot
4) Music is discreet and enjoyable. But the game goes silent a lot, that's a bad decision for me. Dialogue mumbling (placeholder?) does annoy, glad it could be turned off
Overall, one of the most promising games here. Keep up the good work!
And some remarks
1) Exploration feature. Why does not walking cost energy? Is it intentional?
And a bug: entering any building resets the step counter

"Slow-cooked" is a funny detail considering that cooking does not take any time
3)
Colour settings reset in the editor when reopening the tab. And it's better to call them like "color 1, 2, etc" or "main color, secondary color". Cause if changed there are no longer black and white
- exploration changed to only takes 10 minutes and no energy is intentional, scavenging will take energy instead. *knowing energy management is pretty tedious.
Entering building resets steps is intentional as well, it's going to be annoying it doesn't. Time is important.
- he plan to change the cooking system, so it might takes time.
- color changing is supposed to be "global" because if it's individual, it's going to be tedious and might caused a lag and confusion.

I have to say, the UI and dialogue stuff feels pretty solid, though it seems like there's some latency(?) or a bit of a lag when opening stuff like the wardrobe/stash and going through Millie's interaction menu. Exploration also kinda feels a bit tedious/slow with the slow fade-ins and outs, and the sometimes missing direction indicators on the minimap. Edit: immediately after posting this I found out that we can zoom out the minimap, so scratch that complaint lol. Just a bunch of minor pet peeves though. Save for the understandable lack of content this game actually looks pretty solid for an early beta. Really looking forward to the full release of 0.3.
- Yes, I still need to optimize the system to reduce the lag (The image load was the main issue)
- As for the exploration, I'll see what I can do with the fade-in! (Yeah, there are supposed to be many streets there, but I haven't dealt with the drawing part yet!)

For BETA release - This month (hopefully, still making progress and doing a lot of Trials and Errors with the previous system) For Public release - Hopefully early next year
To put simply, .3 Alpha uses a "prototype" half-softcoded system, while .3 Beta uses a new and mostly-softcoded system.
Means, no, Alpha save cannot be used on Beta. But! The prologue is way more different now =3 (Starting .3 The story is going to be final and you can do a comparison between Alpha and Beta to see the changes ;])
Due to my sickness (Flu - Still coughing till now) that still going on, I've been trying to cure myself while also making progress... (God I hate getting sick and delayed again...)

Can you MAYBEEEE plz. Add as a joke (maybe) to sleep a week? Just so the character needs everything by waking up BUT as a buff, has 2,5 times the "normal" stamina (don't make the stamina bar longer for that, just make the bar go further then it can "normally" hold like overritting the other pixels)
I plan to add a "Player made translation" into the game, so, you can translate the line as your own, and then put it into the game, and it'll be there~
So, you don't need to wait for each update for a new language!
Still have things to polish, so maybe the end of this month =] I've been pushing myself now, headache here and there, but don't worry, once it's ready, I'll announce it.
Oh yeah I wanted to know beta version mobile support? I usually play on phone not on my laptop:v (ask here again bc still didn't want to ask in discord sorry:<)
In the discord server, you need to read the rules and then scroll down, once you get your visitor role, go to #bug-reports channel, and feel free to give your error report or even feedback! ^^

And as for now, drawing is the most tedious part... so yeah... that's why it took so long!
the game sounds interesting and im liking the art style based on the preview images shown. Sadly i downloaded the game for mac since its what i use and it wouldnt even open. im hoping this is likely just a me thing but if not hopefully there are fixes for mac versions. Hope to one day be able to play this game
